Downers Grove, IL -- UPP Business Systems, LLC, a leading provider of Information Technology solutions nationwide, announced today the company was awarded a contract with the State of Illinois to provide Information Technology services for the Department of Public Health.

UPP was selected to assist in the development of a Web-enabled application, Tracking our Toddlers Shots (TOTS), and also in the detailed documentation of TOTS for future growth of the system.

UPP consultant staff on site are responsible for ongoing control and management, implementation and maintenance of large projects, planning the conversion of an existing system to make the Web-enabled application, and converting programs from Smalltalk to Java.

This is a one-year contract renewable for up to three years, and represents a continuing relationship between UPP Business Systems and the State of Illinois. In the past, the company provided IT services to the state's Department of Transportation.
