Downers Grove, IL -- UPP Business Systems, LLC, a leading provider of Information Technology solutions nationwide, announces the opening of a new satellite office in Montgomery, Alabama, dedicated to providing IT staff augmentation services, specifically to the US military and Alabama state government agencies.

UPP's new DoD Liaison, Jim Hawk, directs the Montgomery office, so located for its proximity to one of the nation's largest Air Force Bases, Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex. Jim will be responsible for managing existing, strategic client relationships and developing new government accounts.

UPP Business Systems offers professional client-server IT resources in UNIX/NT system administration, network support and Web development; GUI application development; database administration, data warehousing, e-commerce; IBM and Unisys Clearpath, A-Series, 1100/2200 mainframe systems management, development and support services.

Jim Hawk offers over twenty-five years of Information Technology experience, including many years working with the US Air Force, federal and state governments and private industry. He joined UPP as an IT Consultant and Site Manager in 1995, and now brings his vast experience, including a unique mix of vendor/industry knowledge, management skills and technical acumen to the new DoD Division.
