Fortune 500 clientele benefit from UPP's expertise in Windows NT/2000/XP, including such services as global capacity planning, performance analysis, and security monitoring. For one of the country's largest power producers, UPP assists with overall network support, including sniffing and troubleshooting, in a Windows NT and Novell environment with Cisco routers and switches, Cisco PIX firewalls, Gigabit Ethernet, Frame to ATM cloud and OSPF, using tools such as Sniffer and Openview. Related special projects have included Windows 2000 Active Directory design for a .NET enterprise roll-out; Windows XP roll-out to 1000 clients using Ghost and WinInstall; and multiple Windows NT application roll-outs, including policies, change management, implementation, testing, etc. UPP has also provided LAN, desktop, 24x7 remote and Help Desk support to multi-state office and branch locations of a Midwestern bank, including building and upgrading IBM and Compaq workstations along with laptops, Windows 9x/NT as well as Novell network administration, backup and tape management, and print management over a WAN. Additionally, UPP works with a team to provide LAN/WAN, Windows NT/2000, Wintel server support for a Fortune 500 multi-national, including server installs and upgrades, server and network monitoring and troubleshooting, Cisco configuration and monitoring, e-mail configuration and troubleshooting, and helpdesk and direct PC user support for about 30,000, using HP OpenView, Fluke, Penta Scanner, CiscoWorks, NetScout, and other such tools (Case Study).
