Visual C/C++ Development
UPP consultants have been involved in a variety of design, development and implementation projects using C and C++ technology. One healthcare industry client in particular has been able to capitalize on UPP's C++ expertise to develop an ISAPI-based system and revolutionary call processing system using CORBA, in addition to object-oriented applications and socket programming. For a client in the telecommunications industry, UPP resources coded extensively in C/C++ to upgrade to a newer version of IBM AIX UNIX and for related SNA to TCP/IP migration, including responsibility for analysis, object-oriented design, coding and testing for remediation. For one of the largest privately-held corporations in the nation, UPP provided C/C++ resources to assist with the GUI enhancement of a pipeline monitoring system. For a national scientific lab, UPP has helped setup a C/C++ (UNIX) development environment, including tools, and also built an MIS for tracking computer resources. For a state government agency, UPP consultants developed interfaces, coding in Visual C, in support of a complex Web-based criminal history and automated fingerprint scanning
solution (Case Study). And for a hospital group, UPP consultants built hospital HL7 interface systems with EDI using C++ under UNIX in accordance with HIPAA standards.
