UPP provides clients in diverse industries, from entertainment to engineering, chemical to banking with Visual Basic and PowerBuilder development expertise. For one of the leading R&D firms in the country, UPP staff is responsible, often in a leading role, for Visual Basic and .NET development of applications to manage analytical data in an Oracle data warehouse. UPP resources also developed Visual Basic programs to integrate Siebel with an entertainment concern's travel and reservation systems, using Jacada/Enterprise Access 2000 for data mapping between Siebel and legacy systems. In the public sector, UPP consultants are additionally responsible for developing a VB-based adult justice application package, a Visual Basic/SQL Server health services application, and a Visual Basic/MS-Access IT services monitoring application for three, separate county government clients. On the PowerBuilder side, a Fortune 500 client has utilized UPP expertise for a large, multi-year development effort of a custom international business application, including responsibility for supporting financial system PowerBuilder/Sybase (S-Designor) development. UPP consultants have also been responsible for full lifecycle development of various PowerBuilder systems for a leading producer of convenience foods. Additionally, UPP has supported various clients in their efforts to convert from mainframe, legacy systems to client-server, PowerBuilder environments, including development of new front end applications for a Midwestern bank's Unisys systems.
