Utilizing Oracle Tools (PL/SQL, Pro*C, SQL*Plus, 2000 Toolset, etc.), UPP consultants, working as individuals or members of entire UPP Oracle project teams, have completed a wide variety of complex integration and interface projects. For a multi-national beverages company, UPP is working with a team to redesign warehouse management systems using Oracle and SQL under AIX with ERwin and DataStage tools. For the same client, UPP staff are helping to convert Oracle to Teradata, including extensive SQL and PL/SQL coding along with UNIX Shell scripting. For a supplier of products and services to the aerospace industry, UPP is responsible for migrating existing inventory tracking and labor tracking systems from Unisys LINC to Oracle, using Designer to develop and generate GUI and character-based forms,
reports, and the database structure. For a genetics corporation, UPP consultants have redesigned and implemented a credit card transaction tracking application using Oracle Designer/Developer Tools. For a consumer goods Fortune 500 company, UPP consultants are responsible for the conversion and upgrade of a marketing accounting system using Oracle Forms, SQL and Oracle Discoverer. UPP personnel are also instrumental in the development of a complete Oracle data model - financials, order management, manufacturing and logistics - using Oracle Tools for a worldwide leader in the foodstuffs market.
