UPP has been engaged in .NET development of supply chain, scientific, engineering and financial applications. Company .NET resources have led the development of a Web application for color matching using ASP.NET, VB.NET, C# and SQL Server 2000, including developing a library of re-usable components for future .NET development. For the same client, a world leader in the development of new products and technologies, UPP developed two applications for data management, using VB.NET along with Visual Basic 6.0 and PL/SQL, to extract stored analytical data from Oracle 8i and graphically
present and restructure that data in various formats, including GAML/XML, .txt and for MS Access and MS Excel applications. UPP also developed various applications for such diverse tasks as math modeling, lab process monitoring via enterprise intranet, and HR/financial data entry and processing using first Visual Basic and then Visual
Studio.NET technologies. Project responsibilities included analysis, Use Case design using UML, coding with VB, COM/COM+, XML, SOAP, ASP, HTML, VBA for MS applications, data import/export using T-SQL and PL/SQL, database design using SQL Server, Oracle and MS Access, configuration and support of MS IIS and MTS as well as SQL Server under Windows NT/2000, documentation and Help development using RoboHELP and finally .NET migration and support. For modeling and design, employed tools such as Visual Modeler, Rational Rose and ERwin.
